How it works

1. 1Add your business details. Enter your business name, logo, address, contact details and tax ID. Everything stays in the editor — nothing is uploaded.
2. 2Add the customer and invoice details. Fill in the bill-to customer, an optional ship-to address, invoice number, invoice and due dates, currency and payment terms.
3. 3Add line items and totals. Enter descriptions, quantities, rates and optional per-line tax. Apply a discount, overall tax, shipping, additional charges and amount paid — the totals recalculate instantly.
4. 4Preview and refine. Watch the live preview update as you type. Switch between Professional, Modern and Minimal templates, change the accent color, then add notes, terms and payment instructions.
5. 5Download, print or save. Download a vector PDF named after your invoice number, print with A4-friendly styles, or save an opt-in draft in this browser to continue later.

Best practices

• Use a unique invoice number per customer and keep your own record of issued numbers — this tool starts at INV-001 as a suggestion and does not guarantee uniqueness.
• Set the invoice date to the day you send it and choose a due date that matches your payment terms.
• Describe each line item clearly so the customer can verify exactly what they are paying for.
• Confirm the tax treatment (GST, VAT or sales tax) that applies to your products or services — the tax fields here are calculation helpers, not tax or legal advice.
• Double-check the discount, tax and amount paid before sending; the balance due is calculated automatically from your inputs.
• Only include payment instructions you are comfortable sharing — never put card numbers, CVV codes or banking passwords in an invoice.
• All processing happens in your browser, so your invoice data never leaves your device unless you send the downloaded file yourself.

Supported currencies and formats

Create invoices in 12+ currencies — USD, EUR, GBP, INR, AUD, CAD, JPY, CNY, SGD, AED, SAR and more — with Intl.NumberFormat-based formatting that follows each currency's decimals (zero-decimal currencies like JPY never show spurious cents). Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo up to 2 MB, add up to 100 line items with optional per-line tax and HSN/SAC codes, and download an A4 vector PDF or print straight from the browser. Generate Proposal drafts with AI (with a local fallback); Generate Locally processes everything in your browser.

Privacy & data removal

The Invoice Generator runs 100% in your browser. Your invoice data, logo and totals are never uploaded to any server, and no account is required. Drafts are saved only when you click Save Draft, stored locally in your browser under a versioned key, and can be cleared anytime with Clear Draft. This tool never sends, stores or processes payments, and it never loads URLs or images you enter as content.
