Create free AI video prompts for Runway, Kling, Pika, LTX Video, OpenAI Video and other AI video generators. Choose generation mode, duration, aspect ratio, shot, camera movement, lighting and mood in English, Tamil, Hindi or mixed Tamil + English. This tool writes prompt text only — it never renders video.

Turn a simple idea into a detailed, production-ready prompt text for AI video generators — Runway, Kling, Pika, LTX Video, OpenAI Video and more. This tool writes video-prompt text only; it never renders or generates video and never uploads media.

0/3000 characters

Describe everything — subject, scene, motion and camera.

Stylistic signal only — support varies by generator.

Frames anchor the opening and closing look of the shot. In one-continuous-shot mode the end frame is reached from the start in a single take.

This tool generates video-prompt text only — it never renders video and never uploads media. Prompt language (Tamil, Hindi, mixed) is supported.

How it works

  1. 1Describe your video. Type your video idea, for example 'a medieval knight walking through a burning castle courtyard while ash falls from the sky', and optionally add extra instructions such as 'no readable text' or 'emotional documentary realism'.
  2. 2Choose mode, language and detail. Pick Text to Video, Image to Video, or Generic, choose the prompt language (English, Tamil, Hindi, or mixed Tamil + English), and set the prompt detail level.
  3. 3Set motion, camera and composition. Choose the duration, aspect ratio, shot type, shot structure, camera position and camera movement, plus motion, pacing, environment motion, style, lighting, mood, lens, depth of field, and color palette.
  4. 4Toggle frames, audio and exclusions. Include start/end frames, audio cues, alternative negative prompt, and text-in-video settings, and add dialogue or additional instructions.
  5. 5Generate the prompt. Click Generate Video Prompt. The worker writes one coherent main prompt that clearly describes motion, plus a short prompt, a context-aware negative prompt, and any shot breakdown.
  6. 6Copy or download. Copy the main prompt, short prompt, negative prompt, frames, audio cues or everything at once, and download the prompt pack as TXT, Markdown, or JSON.

Best practices

  • A video prompt must describe MOTION — subjects, camera and environment all move over time. A static description maps onto stills, not a clip.
  • Say what the camera does: a push-in, a slow tracking shot behind the subject, a gentle orbit. Camera movement is what separates video from image prompts.
  • In one-continuous-shot mode keep a single action and one camera path — no cuts, time jumps, wardrobe swaps or sudden background replacements.
  • For image-to-video, never describe the look of the subject again; focus on motion, camera, parallax and how the environment responds.
  • Match environment motion to the scene — rain in a storm, fog in a valley — and never contradict the setting you described.
  • Short prompts that lean on one well-chosen verb usually generate cleaner motion than crowded keyword lists.
  • Verify time-sensitive claims before publishing — the generator writes from your idea and does not research live facts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a video prompt?
A video prompt is a written description that tells a text-to-video model what to animate — the subject, the scene, and crucially the MOTION: what the subject does, how the camera moves, and how the environment responds over time. Unlike an image prompt, it must read as a moving sequence, not a still.
Does this tool generate or render video?
No. The Video Prompt Generator writes video-prompt text only. It never renders video, never calls a video-generation API and never uploads media. You paste or download the prompt and run it in your own video generator such as Runway, Kling, Pika, LTX Video or OpenAI Video.
Can I use these prompts with different AI video generators?
Yes. The prompts are written to be model-neutral and focus on motion, camera and composition. The Target Model setting is a stylistic signal only — we do not claim exact compatibility or identical behavior with any specific generator.
Why does the prompt describe camera movement?
Because movement is what makes video video. Telling the model whether the camera pushes in, tracks behind a subject, or orbits gives the clip a sense of intention, space and cinematic feel that a static description cannot.
What is the difference between text-to-video and image-to-video?
Text-to-video builds the subject and scene from words alone. Image-to-video starts from a source frame you already have — so the prompt should NOT re-describe the subject's look. Instead it focuses on motion, camera, parallax and how the environment responds, keeping the subject visually consistent with the source frame.
Can I create Tamil, Hindi or mixed language prompts?
Yes. Choose the prompt language: English, Tamil, Hindi, or mixed Tamil + English (Tanglish). Tamil and Hindi prompts are written in natural spoken language rather than stiff literary phrasing or word-for-word translation.
What does one-continuous-shot mode do?
It tells the model to render the scene as one uninterrupted take with a single action and one coherent camera path — no cuts, time jumps, wardrobe swaps, background replacement or perspective discontinuity. Use Multi Shot when you want a small storyboard of connected shots instead.
What is a context-aware negative prompt?
A negative prompt tells a generator what to avoid, such as flicker, warping, missing limbs or unwanted text. It is context-aware: architecture avoids geometry warping and flicker, products avoid shape morphing, and landscapes never get anatomy terms. Turn it off with the Generate negative prompt checkbox if your model manages its own negatives.
Are my video ideas stored permanently?
No. Your idea and instructions are processed securely for the job and automatically removed according to our data-retention policy. No account is required, and we never render, store or share your prompts or frames.
