English prompts are widely supported by image-generation models.

This tool generates prompt text only — it never creates or stores images.

How it works

  1. 1Describe your image. Type your image idea, for example 'A medieval castle on a mountain during a thunderstorm', and optionally add extra instructions such as 'keep the background dark' or 'no people'.
  2. 2Choose language, detail, style and aspect ratio. Pick the prompt language (English, Tamil, Hindi, or mixed Tamil + English), the prompt detail level, the image style, and the aspect ratio.
  3. 3Open Advanced Options. Optionally choose the subject, shot type, lens, lighting, mood, color palette, and quality, and toggle the negative prompt and text-in-image settings.
  4. 4Generate the prompt. Click Generate Image Prompt. The worker writes a structured prompt with a main prompt, a short alternative, and a context-aware negative prompt.
  5. 5Copy or download. Copy the main prompt, the short prompt, the negative prompt, or everything at once, and download the prompt as TXT, Markdown, or JSON.

Best practices

  • Describe your subject clearly first — the generator enhances your concept, it never replaces it.
  • Only select the options you actually want; Auto lets the generator infer the rest without dumping filler into the prompt.
  • Use a specific aspect ratio when the composition matters — 16:9 for wide cinematic frames, 9:16 for portrait frames, 1:1 for balanced squares.
  • Keep painting and anime styles in their own visual language; photographic lens jargon does not help them.
  • Keep the negative prompt enabled and paste it into your image generator to avoid blur, unwanted text, and other common artifacts.
  • English prompts are widely supported by image-generation models, though results vary by model and settings.
  • Avoid loading the prompt with keyword spam — a coherent flowing description usually generates better images.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an AI image prompt?
An AI image prompt is a written description that tells a text-to-image model what to generate — the subject, environment, lighting, composition, style and mood. A well-written prompt makes the model produce results that match your idea much more closely.
Does this tool generate images?
No. The Image Prompt Generator writes prompt text only. It never creates, stores, or edits images, and it does not call any image-generation API. You paste the prompt into your own image generator.
Can I use the prompts with different AI image generators?
Yes. The prompts are written to be model-neutral, so they work with Stable Diffusion / SDXL-style workflows, Midjourney-style prompting, DALL·E, Flux, and generic text-to-image systems. We do not claim exact compatibility with any specific model.
Can I generate cinematic prompts?
Yes. Choose the Cinematic prompt detail level or the Cinematic image style. The prompt then emphasizes shot type, lens feel, composition, depth, atmosphere, lighting direction and cinematic color treatment.
Can I create Tamil prompts?
Yes. Choose Tamil, Hindi, or mixed Tamil + English (Tanglish) as the prompt language. Tamil prompts are written in natural spoken Tamil rather than stiff literary phrasing or word-for-word translation.
What is a negative prompt?
A negative prompt tells an image generator what to avoid, for example blur, distorted anatomy, or watermarks. The negative prompt here is context-aware — it never adds anatomy terms to landscapes, products, or architecture. You can disable it with the Generate negative prompt checkbox.
What aspect ratios are supported?
Auto, 1:1 Square, 16:9 Landscape, 9:16 Portrait, 4:5 Portrait, 3:2 Landscape, 2:3 Portrait, and 21:9 Cinematic. The selected ratio influences the composition language in the prompt.
Are my image ideas stored permanently?
No. Your idea and instructions are processed securely for the job and automatically removed according to our data-retention policy. No account is required, and we never store or share your prompts.
